Grout Sealing
I use two types of grout sealer: water based or solvent based. Nine times out of ten I use the solvent based sealer because in my opinion it is a better product, leaves no residue, lasts longer, and protects better. There are no downsides to the solvent sealer I use.
For water based sealers there is a variety of brands, from moderately priced to high priced, which you can select from if you prefer water based.
Since I always follow the manufacturers recommendations on application, I know it works, and I can guarantee it will. Over the years I've seen many instances where a spill happened after I applied grout sealer, only to be easily removed by the client.
